The School of Education at Adams State University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Teacher Education to teach a wide range of undergraduate and graduate education courses, supervise students in field experience placements, and serve in various leadership roles and committees. The successful candidate will have a background in mathematics education, early literacy/science of reading, social-emotional learning or trauma-informed practice, and experience teaching in the P-12 setting. The position requires a strong focus on teaching, knowledge of, sensitivity to, and ability to work effectively with diverse populations, and experience working with historically under-served and/or underrepresented populations.
