Job Description
The Deputy Manager - Operations & Maintenance will oversee and manage housekeeping, yard maintenance, and Management Information System (MIS) activities within the Coal Handling Plant, ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and accurate reporting.
Requirements
- Lead - Housekeeping, Yard Maintenance, and MIS
- Manage housekeeping tasks, including Kronos entry punching and attendance bill certifications
- Manage water washing of conveyor galleries and bunkers
- Conduct corrosion surveys and manage diesel consumption
- Manage the maintenance of plant vehicles and Coal Handling Plant (CHP) vehicles
- Implement and follow AWMS, IMS, ABEM, CHETNA, and DISHA guidelines within the department
- Ensure compliance with work order notifications, breakdown data, and maintenance schedules
- Strive for Zero Force Outage (ZFO) by adhering to preventive and predictive maintenance practices
- Execute comprehensive digitization strategies to optimize operational efficiency
- Implement automation solutions to support overall organizational goals/strategy
- Implement process and system improvements, adopting newer technologies and innovative ideas
