Job Description
The Head - Safety will be responsible for defining and deploying organization-wide safety vision, policies, and objectives, and ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance. The role will also involve risk assessment and hazard control, incident management and investigation, training and awareness, and team leadership.
Requirements
- Define and deploy organization-wide safety vision, policies, and objectives
- Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance
- Lead Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA)
- Implement effective Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Permit to Work (PTW) systems
- Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Build a behavior-based safety (BBS) culture across all levels
- Conduct internal and third-party safety audits and inspections
- Track and report key safety KPIs to leadership and board
