Job Description
The Scada Monitoring Engineer is responsible for real-time monitoring of wind turbine operations using SCADA systems, ensuring efficient and uninterrupted performance.
Requirements
- Real-time monitoring of turbine operations using SCADA systems
- Tracking performance metrics such as power output, rotor speed, and grid connection status
- Identifying and reporting deviations from normal operating parameters
- Responding to alarms generated by the SCADA system
- Maintaining accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and outcomes
- Performing data logging and initial analysis of turbine performance data
- Conducting regular system health checks
- Adhering to cybersecurity protocols within the SCADA environment
- Following standard operating procedures for SCADA monitoring
- Assisting in troubleshooting activities
- Working closely with SCADA and operations teams
- Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders
