Job Description
ADAPT Community Network is seeking a Preschool Special Education Teacher for its Bronx Children's Program. This is a $5,000 signing bonus position with the opportunity to join a network of services for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role involves leading educational classes, assessing and preparing IEPs, and supervising student teachers. ADAPT focuses on supporting people with developmental disabilities and fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Proficiency in a personal computer and software
- Availability Monday-Friday, 8am-3pm
