Job Description
ADAPT Community Network, formerly United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of NYC, provides a range of services for individuals with developmental disabilities. They are seeking a Residence Program Specialist to provide care and development to people in their residential facilities. The role involves interacting with residents, ensuring safety and well-being, and providing individualized support through activities of daily living and social skills development.
Requirements
- Valid New York State Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six months of related experience (preferred)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze problems and determine corrective measures
- Medication Administration Personnel (AMAP) approval
