Job Description
ADAPT Community Network, formerly United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of NYC, provides services to people with developmental disabilities. This Residence Program Specialist will provide care and support to residents in a residential setting, fostering independence and dignity through activities of daily living and social skills training. The role involves maintaining a homelike atmosphere, managing first aid, and assisting with meal planning.
Requirements
- Valid New York State Driver’s License and must maintain it
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze problems and determine corrective measures
- High School Diploma or GED
