Job Description
ADAPT Community Network, formerly United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of NYC, is seeking a Residence Program Specialist to provide care and development to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential facility. This role involves providing activities of daily living assistance, creating a homelike environment, and responding to emergencies, ensuring safety and well-being for residents. The position requires a compassionate individual who can function both independently and collaboratively.
Requirements
- Valid New York State Driver’s License
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze problems and determine corrective measures
