Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant

The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy services to clients in their home under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The position requires a graduate of a two-year PTA college program, licensure in Minnesota, and at least two years of experience in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include providing treatments, exercises, and home exercise programs, as well as maintaining documentation and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Graduate of a two (2) year PTA college program
• Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Minnesota
• At least two (2) years experience in a health care setting or equivalent experience
• Good interpersonal communication and teaching skills
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently
• Good written and oral communication skills
