Senior Data Governance Specialist

Senior Data Governance Specialist job description: lead and execute company-wide data governance initiatives, act as a trusted advisor, design and implement governance frameworks, and promote the adoption of governance tools and processes.

Requirements

• 10-12+ years of experience in data governance
• Proven expertise in Collibra, including metadata models, workflows, integrations, and APIs
• Solid experience designing and implementing governance solutions on AWS
• Practical experience with data virtualization technologies (e.g., Starburst, Trino) and a deep understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Spark, and modern data architectures (Data Mesh, Data Fabric)
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams and projects in an agile environment
• Excellent documentation, presentation, and communication skills
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
