In this position, you will support the plasmid lab and production through the preparation and maintenance of media, reagents and consumables and the assistance of deposit intake tasks. The role includes preparing liquid and solid media, assisting with inventory stocking and maintenance, and receiving deposits, performing quality assurance on bacterial samples and aliquoting DNA.
Requirements
- Associates degree/Certificate in Biological Sciences with 0-2 years experience
- Certificate in Biotechnology or related field considered
- Basic knowledge of aseptic techniques required
- Excellent interpersonal skills; both verbal and written are essential
- Self-motivated, organized, able to work independently
- Familiarity with general computer software, Google Workspace, and MS Office a plus
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English; strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required
