The Family Medical Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive primary health care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care, to patients. The physician will work in an in-person setting and be required to rotate call for emergencies, attend continuing medical education programs, and maintain credentialing and privileging in good standing.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited medical school program
- Completion of an accredited United States Family Practice Residency program
- Board certified or board eligible
- Valid Arizona medical license
- Valid DEA certificate
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniques
- Ability to meet and deal effectively with clients, associates and the general public
- Basic business English, spelling and punctuation skills
- Basic computer efficiency
- Valid AZ driver’s license
- Commitment to Adelante Healthcare mission, vision, and values
- Certification to perform cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Health Care Professional (CPR) and AED through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and Red Cross (cognitive and skills evaluations)
- Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioral health locations
