Job Description
Adept Group is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to add to their team in Waukegan, IL. The candidate should have 5+ years of packaging experience in the food industry and be able to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in packaging engineering.
- 5+ years packaging engineering experience.
- Technical depth on a packaging material, format, or process.
- Advanced understanding of the full packaging development and qualification process (or stage gate process).
- Advanced knowledge of resource planning for trials.
- Advanced understanding of project timeline development.
- Demonstrated effective communications (verbally and in writing) across internal and external teams.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time efficiently and effectively across multiple activities and tasks simultaneously.
