Data Platform Architect (Snowflake)

Data Platform Architect (Snowflake) job description: Design, implement, and develop modern cloud data platforms for customers using Snowflake AI Data Cloud. Advise on architecture, implementation, and use of intelligent data solutions. Requirements: experience with data platform architecture, cloud platforms, IaC, ETL/ELT methodology, programming knowledge in SQL and Python/Java/Scala/Spark.

Requirements

• Experience with data platform architecture, preferably with Snowflake
• Familiarity with DWH, Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Data Mesh and with modeling (Data Vault 2.0, Star-, and Snowflake-schemas)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure (VPC, IAM) and experience with IaC, for example, Terraform
• Experience with ETL/ELT methodology
• Experience with building robust batch and streaming data pipelines
• Programming knowledge in SQL and preferably Python, Java, Scala, or Spark
• Experience in roles such as architect, lead engineer, or technical consultant
