The Sales Assistant contributes to achieving sales figures and KPI targets by building an emotional connection with customers and living the brand values, servicing customers, selling, and performing store operations with diligence.
Requirements
- Knows the store goals and individual goals and actively works to achieve or exceed them, using all available resources
- Meets or exceeds customer expectations and drives sales and brand awareness upwards by applying suitable elements of the customer's profile
- Builds an emotional connection with every customer by appearing as a passionate and enthusiastic ambassador of the brand
- Maintains an attractive, pleasant environment for customers to shop in, paying attention to visual merchandising and orderliness and cleanliness
- Adheres to rules and procedures (SOM regulations) applicable to the store and maintains a secure shopping and working environment
- Ensures that the product offer is available for customers by helping to receive and process delivered goods
- Minimizes losses by always paying attention to the product inventory when serving customers
- Works with new colleagues (if applicable)
- Works productively and respectfully with team members to achieve store goals
- Completes all prescribed training programs and successfully applies them in their work
- Signals continuous learning readiness and uses all available opportunities to advance their development and improve their performance
- Cash handling (if applicable)
- Ensures correct payment processes, including careful product handling
- Conducts cash register closures with care
- Closes sales quickly and accurately and adheres to guidelines for securing the cash balance (if applicable)
- Endless Aisle (if applicable)
- Informs customers about the new ordering/sales option in the online shop and uses the Endless Aisle Tablet to offer product descriptions and/or customer feedback on products during the sales process.
- Click & Collect (if applicable)
- Monitors and checks new online orders from online customers that need to be reserved, packed, and handed over to customers in-store.
- Ship from Store (if applicable)
- Monitors and checks new online orders that need to be shipped to customers.
