Opportunity for a Controls Engineer to join Adient's automotive seating plant in Lansing, MI to develop, maintain, and improve automation control systems integral to the production process of the assembly of automotive seating and overhead systems.
Requirements
- 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using Allen Bradley's RS Logix 5, RS Logix 5000, ControlLogix and PanelView development software
- Functional knowledge of intermediate and advanced math functions including trigonometry and algebra
- Ability to create and interpret graphs and relationships between inputs and outputs
- PLC code development and debug experience
- Hardware knowledge in PLCs, PCs, HMIs, controls devices, and Robotics
- Experience with Automation Network Interfaces for data and control (Ethernet, Device Net, ControlNet, ProFiBus, etc.)
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of the following applications: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Auto Cad LT 2002 or higher
