Job description
Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, the Materials Planner will translate demand into material requirements, ensure alignment between supply plans and production plans, and monitor stock levels. The role involves maintaining optimal inventory, setting and managing safety stock levels, and communicating material requirements to suppliers. The Materials Planner will also track supplier performance, resolve delivery delays or shortages, and support sourcing and supplier improvement initiatives.

They will also maintain optimal inventory, set and manage safety stock levels, and communicate material requirements to suppliers. Additionally, they will track supplier performance, resolve delivery delays or shortages, and support sourcing and supplier improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have an engineer or master's degree in supply chain management, production, industrial engineering, or a related field. They will have 2-4 years of experience as a Material Planner, PC&L, or equivalent in the automotive industry. The candidate should be proficient in MS Excel, have experience working with ERP systems, and be able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
