Job description
Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, the Materials Planner will translate demand into material requirements, ensure alignment between supply plans and production plans, and monitor stock levels. The role will involve maintaining optimal inventory, setting and managing safety stock levels, and communicating material requirements to suppliers.
The Materials Planner will translate demand into material requirements, ensure alignment between supply plans and production plans, and monitor stock levels. They will also maintain optimal inventory, set and manage safety stock levels, and communicate material requirements to suppliers.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Material Planner, PC&L, or equivalent in the Automotive industry, with a strong understanding of Bill of Materials, Production Orders, and Material Requirement Planning. They will also be proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems, with excellent analytical thinking and planning skills.
