Job Description
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for complying with all BOS, ISO/TS-16949, and Customer Specific requirements, and working to meet and exceed Plant/Customer KPIs. The role will involve supporting PPAP package preparation, developing and updating control plans, and conducting capability studies. Additionally, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for interface with external customers, completing customer-specific advanced quality planning requirements, and writing and submitting 8-Ds to the customer in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in Quality Engineering, with emphasis on supplying the automotive industry
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 & ISO 9001:2015 Standards
- Statistical Quality Control Knowledge (a plus)
- Formal Problem Solving and Strong Documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Products, specifically Excel
