Trim Engineer

We are seeking a Trim Engineer with a degree in Engineering or equivalent experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in Product Engineering, preferably in the automotive industry, with a focus on trim processes. The candidate will be responsible for engineering root cause analysis, design and development support, production support at launches, and more.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2 to 5 years in Product Engineering (preferred automotive industry and trim process)
• Responsible of engineering root cause analysis, support for design and development, production support at launches
• Knowledge on drawing standards, GD&T, Stack-ups, Validation testing, FMEA
• Materials technical knowledge (fabric, leather, vinyl, carpets, non-woven, etc.)
• Pattern development and CAD 2D
• Executes analysis and support robust engineering changes to ensure proper follow up for flawless and on time implementation
• Uses the right analysis tool for providing technical solution to program/product issues
• Working side-to-side with a multidisciplinary team of local and foreign engineers to achieve product and program requirements compliance and criteria
• Manage and knowledge of Design Standards, support on the release of 2D/3D design, BOM’s, and all technical data related to the seat
