Job Description
ADLINK is seeking a Firmware Engineer to develop UEFI BIOS firmware for x86 based embedded PC modules. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience developing firmware, drivers, or BIOS code, and a strong understanding of C programming language and hardware register level programming.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 years developing firmware, drivers, or BIOS code
- Strong C programming language skills
- Experienced in hardware register level programming
- Knowledge of various types of devices and interfaces, including PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI, and GPIO
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Linux, and real time operating systems
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and resourceful
- Excellent debugging skills and a thorough knowledge of debugging methodologies
- Proactive and able to take initiative
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative team player with a customer service mindset
- Strong organizational skills
