Medical Assistant Bridge Year - Castle Rock/Aurora, CO

We are seeking highly motivated students interested in a medical career for our year-long internship and medical assistant position. The position is ideal for students graduating or having graduated from undergraduate school and not yet applied or been accepted to medical school. This program provides in-depth medical assistant training and experience in the dermatology field.

Requirements

• Assist the physician with patient care duties
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) data entry
• Writing and understanding prescriptions and their uses
• Biopsy preparation and clean up
• Surgical assisting and clean up
