Intern - Electrical Engineer - Summer 2026

Advanced Energy is seeking Electrical Design Engineering Interns to support development activities across North America. The successful candidates will work with an experienced engineering team on high-performance power conversion, metrology, or controls solutions.

Requirements

• Active participant in a core team to meet schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction goals
• Assisting in the development, testing, and de-bugging of prototype power supply units
• Analyzing test data and reports against functional and performance specifications
• Interfacing with internal departments to ensure cost and schedule goals are met
• Circuit design of analog and digital circuits, EMI filters, and power circuits
• Development and implementation of control algorithms
• Design and analysis of magnetic components
• Modeling and simulation of devices, circuits or systems using commercial or proprietary tools
