Job Description
The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment, planning and leading activities of Manufacturing Engineers, and implementing SPC tools for assembly tools and manufacturing processes. The primary emphasis is on continuous quality improvement and process optimization.
Requirements
- Safety: Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed, develop and implement safety procedures, and maintain safety KPIs
- Quality: Manage adherence to procedures, develop and maintain manufacturing process controls, and participate in root cause analysis
- Delivery: Lead the process engineering team to meet production schedules and comply with delivery requests
- Cost: Develop and implement initiatives to drive plant productivity improvements, reduce scrap and rework, and implement cost reduction programs
