Mechanical Engineer II

As a Mechanical Engineer II at Advanced Energy, you will work as part of a team to design, analyze, and document sheet metal enclosures, bus bars, heat sinks, and other electronics cooling mechanisms. You will also create mechanical models and perform complex analyses of dimensional tolerance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of related design experience in electronic systems
• Advanced computer skills with CAD software, Creo Parametric or similar
• Knowledge with Sheet Metal design
• Experience with Thermal Simulation and Structural Simulation tools
• Design for manufacturing (DFM) and assembly (DFA)
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and Tolerance Stack-up Analysis
• Liquid Cooling systems experience
• Self-management of project work from start to finish
