The Principal Electrical Engineer will be responsible for engineering work in applied research, design, development, testing, manufacturing, and documentation of products or systems. They will work with customers to identify and understand requirements and needs, and will use research techniques to analyze and validate design or theory concepts.
Requirements
- Responsible for the design and analysis of systems, products, and subsystems/circuits to specification, cost, budget, schedule, and quality goals.
- Diagnose issues of diverse scope with design, field performance, reliability and test yields of products and recommend/implement corrective actions to address
- Assume responsibility for the success of the product/system in the customers' applications and recommend/implement corrective actions as needed
- Follow key engineering procedures in the Product Development Process and ECO process
- Work with manufacturing locations and supply chain groups to implement cost reductions, manufacturability improvements, and quality improvements for existing products
