Sr Electronic Engineer

Advanced Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in power electronics to design, develop, and optimize power electronics systems for cutting-edge products.

Requirements

• Lead the design, analysis, and development of DC and Radio Frequency (RF) power delivery system derivatives and RF Match derivatives for industrial and semiconductor aftermarket solutions.
• Apply technical knowledge of circuit/hardware design, including DC circuits, AC to DC converters, AC power factor correction, high power transistors and rectifiers, digital and analog loop stability, RF matching networks, magnetic design, digital hardware, test and measurement systems, and electrical/safety regulatory compliance.
• Conduct simulations, modeling, and testing to validate and optimize designs for efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, specifications, and performance goals.
• Participate in design reviews, feasibility assessments, and risk analysis with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Follow key engineering procedures, including the ECO process, Copy Exact and Product Development Process.
