CRNA

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is responsible for the patient’s pre-anesthesia, medication, and preparation for surgical procedures. This role involves administering anesthesia, monitoring patient response, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role also requires collaboration with physicians in the operating room of Round Rock Surgery Center.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in nursing and graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
• Minimum of two years’ prior work experience as a CRNA.
• Pain management experience is preferred.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must display empathy and positive regard for others.
• Follows appropriate compliance and safety measures.
• Must have careful attention to detail and sharp concentration.
• Ability to react quickly when a patient’s condition changes.
• Ability to stay calm under stressful conditions.
• Good self-control and judgment.
• Technical proficiency in a variety of clinical skills and knowledge of operating equipment
