Job Description
The Medical Assistant assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician and/or mid-level provider. Helps patients by providing information, services and assistance.
Requirements
- Greets patients, introduces self, and escorts to exam room.
- Verifies patient information, medical history, medications, and confirms purpose of visit.
- Measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients' charts (Paper chart or EMR/EHR).
