Medical Assistant

Advanced Pain Care is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Kyle clinic location. The Medical Assistant assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician and/or mid-level provider, helping patients by providing information, services and assistance.

Requirements

• Greet patients, introduce self, and escort to exam room.
• Verify patient information, medical history, medications, and confirm purpose of visit.
• Measure vital signs, record information on patients' charts, and draw blood samples (if required).
• Prepare treatment rooms, secure patient information, and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Schedule surgeries, maintain safe work environment, and follow standard procedures.
• Practice teamwork, communicate professionally, and adhere to professional standards.
