CAD Design Engineer (Project-based)

The CAD Design Engineer is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating detailed design documentation in support of audiovisual (AV) and systems integration projects.

Requirements

• Attend remote design and coordination meetings with internal teams
• Develop and revise CAD drawings
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and implementation teams
• Apply ASG drafting standards
• Assist with the creation, reconciliation, and review of Bills of Materials
• Perform design quality reviews
• Generate wire lists, cable pull sheets, and other installation-ready documentation
• Maintain red-line changes and incorporate field updates into AutoCAD drawings
• Prepare final design packages for distribution to engineering, fabrication, and installation teams
• Support engineering and integration teams by addressing design-related questions throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure all design documentation aligns with ASG standards, project requirements, and industry best practices
