GIS Analyst

Advanced Technology & Research Corporation (ATR) is seeking a GIS Analyst to work at the Naval Surface Warfare Center South Florida Ocean Measurement Facility. The successful applicant will join ATR's Engineering Services Division and work as part of a research, design, test, and evaluation team.

Requirements

• Develop requirements for new and existing GIS solutions
• Provide graphic representations of measurement facility ocean-related data
• Discover patterns and trends through spatial mapping
• Develop mapping applications and tools
• Manage a digital library of geographic maps in various file types
• Serve as a technical point of contact to others
• Provide detailed seabed mapping information using GIS relational database that integrates existing and new data
