Job Description
AdvanSix plays a critical role in global supply chains, innovating and delivering essential products for our customers in a wide variety of end markets and applications. We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join the capital projects engineering team at AdvanSix.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License (ability to obtain PA and VA licenses)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role at a chemical plant or similar industrial facility
- Strong communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and in a multi-functional team environment
- Experience in 3D modeling utilizing software such as AutoCAD and/or CADWorx Structure software to create 3D models and drawings
- Experience with design software, such as Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis, STAAD, RISA, GT STRUDL, etc.
