Job Description
Working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Behavioral Health Crisis Center, treating and educating clients in crisis about behavioral health and medical conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to clients and their family members/supports.
Requirements
- LPN/RN license in the state of Georgia
- BLS certification
- Ability to establish a Nursing plan of care or contribute to an existing plan
- Ability to administer medication, including careful checking of dosages and avoiding interactions
- Ability to observe and record client observations
- Ability to consult with physicians and other health care clinicians
- Ability to record clients medical histories, behavioral health histories and symptoms
- Ability to provide direction to licensed practical nurses or other clinical support staff
