Certified Medical Staff Coordinator *Full-Time, Day Shift*

Certified Medical Staff Coordinator is responsible for acting as liaison between organization administration and medical staff, managing medical staff committees, and supporting medical staff leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical staff services department or related setting, and hold certifications such as CPMSM or CPCS.

Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent
• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
• Two years' experience in a medical staff services department or other related setting
• Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM) by the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
• Maintains a positive relationship with medical staff leadership and represents administrative issues successfully
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all matters pertaining to the medical staff
• Assumes responsibility for meeting management, maintains organized meeting documentation, and prepares minutes and documents for regulatory review
• Supports peer review process and documentation, publishes and maintains emergency department call schedules, and assists in coordinating and monitoring the FPPE processes
