Job Description
Adventist Health Hanford is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment to employees within a 173-bed hospital and outpatient clinics. The role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals and providing preventive care to improve employee health. Located in a rural community in the Central Valley of California, it benefits from a family-friendly atmosphere and access to Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Two years' technical experience in related field: Preferred
- License/Certifications: Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in state of practice
- Develops and implements health promotion, illness/injury prevention, and therapeutic plans
- Initiates treatment for patients with common health problems
- Assists with providing onsite immunizations and screenings
- Educates patients on preventive care and prescribed treatments
- Develops or leads training sessions on topics such as infectious diseases and PPE
