Job Description
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department, supervises nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- AHA-PALS
- Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
