RN - Labor & Delivery, Postpartum *Full Time, Nights*

Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients at Adventist Health Twin Cities in Templeton, California. Coordinate, manage, provide and delegate patient care, responsible for meeting the established Standards of Nursing Practice and promoting cooperation among the health care team.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of nursing: Required
• One-year recent acute care RN experience: Required
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification: Required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required on hire and every two years for experienced nurses: Required
• Novice, or new to L&D RN's will take the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring course during first 6-8 months of L&D orientation then AWHONN Advanced Fetal monitoring course every two years thereafter: Required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice: Required
