Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse performs general nursing duties with minimal supervision in a busy Pediatric practice, assisting physicians and nurse practitioners with patient care, environmental and organizational tasks.
Requirements
- Performing vital signs, heights, weights, immunizations and other injections on patients from newborn to young adults
- Triaging incoming telephone calls and relaying medical information provided by the Physician/PNP staff
- Maintaining efficient and rapid patient flow
- Documenting patient interactions in the electronic health system (EMR)
- Conveying a positive image of Care Center
