Medical Assistant

Advocate, LLC is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join their healthcare team, providing direct patient care and support to providers and clinical staff. The role involves a wide range of administrative and clinical tasks, including patient documentation, communication, and maintaining clinic operations. Medical Assistant is an integral part of a forward-thinking clinical team.

Requirements

• Perform a wide range of administrative and clinical tasks, including obtaining and documenting patient medical histories, answering and directing phone calls, and ensuring completion of all necessary forms.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Prepare patients for examinations by conducting preliminary physical assessments, taking vital signs, and summarizing patient history.
• Set up and maintain clean, organized treatment rooms for clinical examinations.
• Communicate physician instructions to patients and answer basic questions regarding treatment and care.
• Ensure strict compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Assist providers, clinical staff, and other team members as needed
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support overall clinic operations.
