Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, direct patient care and support to providers and clinical staff by performing both clinical and administrative duties in a professional and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Perform a wide range of administrative and clinical tasks
- Maintain medical supply inventory and perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment
- Prepare patients for examinations by summarizing patient history for providers
- Communicate physician instructions to patients and answer basic questions regarding treatment and care
- Provide compassionate support and assistance to patients and their families throughout their visit
- Ensure strict compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and OSHA
- Assist providers, clinical staff, and other team members as needed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support overall clinic operations
