Job Description
Perform advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures, identify and define cardiac abnormalities, and communicate clinical findings to staff. Assist in performing transesophageal studies and record statistics. Implement protocols and ensure quality processes are adhered to.
Requirements
- Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-AE) registration with Adult Echo issued by the ARDMS
- Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) registration issued by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced training beyond High School in Sonography
- 2 years of experience in cardiovascular sonography
