Job Description
Performs various duties as a Medical Assistant, including patient care, administrative tasks, and lab-related duties. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be proficient in computer skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
- Successful completion of Atrium Health's competency assessment
