Certified Surgical Tech FT

Certified Surgical Tech FT position at Advocate Christ Hospital & Medical Center - 4440 W 95th St. Responsible for functions in the scrub role on surgical procedures, preparing and maintaining the sterile field, and participating in the surgical “Time out”.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program ARC-STSA(CAAHEP- Commision on Accredidation of Allied Health Education Programs)
• Certified Surgical Technologist certification from the NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) within 90 days of hire
• Ability to work well with internal and external customers
• Fine motor skills
• Ability to wear a surgical mask and gloves
• Auditory skills which allow incumbent to hear individuals whose speech may be muffled
• CPR certified
