Diet Clerk

Assembles patient and mobile meal trays/meals, loads and transports food carts, and delivers patient meal trays. Provides customer service in the cafeteria, operates a cash register, and performs cleaning duties. Prepares snacks, beverages, and patient food items, and assists with events and promotions.

Requirements

• Assemble patient and mobile meal trays/meals in accordance with approved diet guidelines and portions
• Load and transport food carts
• Deliver patient meal trays
• Provide initial service to visitors in the cafeteria
• Operate a cash register
• Perform cleaning duties
• Prepare snacks, beverages, and patient food items
• Assist with events and promotions
