Job Description
The EVS Tech 1 position is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas in Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, including patient rooms, offices, and restrooms. The role requires operating various equipment, using chemicals and solutions, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. The position also involves interacting with patients, families, and hospital personnel to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Able to operate small electrical equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
