Medical Assistant Atrium Health Ballantyne Neurology FT

Medical Assistant position at Atrium Health Ballantyne Neurology FT, responsible for patient care, lab related duties, medication administration, and other tasks. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or may have completed structured military training which is clinical in nature per DD214 in lieu of a formal medical assistant program or EMT
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• Successful completion of Atrium Health’s competency assessment
