This Medical Assistant position is responsible for providing patient care, performing lab-related duties, and administering medications. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, and current BLS certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• Ability to perform routine and complex technical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Customer service skills
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders
• Ability to lift 35 pounds without assistance
• Functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine-hand manipulation skills
