Job Description
The Pharmacy Specialist: Medication History Advocate Health Good Samaritan is responsible for completing area-specific work, serving as an expert with equipment and technology, and identifying quality improvement opportunities. The role requires excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or pharmacy, and a certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) or National Health Career Association (ExCPT).
Requirements
- Registration/Licensure with state board of pharmacy per state of employment requirements
- Certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) or National Health Career Association (ExCPT)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or pharmacy
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Basic math skills
- Strong background in medical terminology preferred
