Pharmacy Tech I - St. Luke's - 3rd shift

Assists licensed pharmacist in technical duties related to preparation and distribution of medications, including preparation, labeling, and dispensing of medications, as well as performing non-sterile compounding and sterile IV admixture. Responsibilities include screening phone calls, routing medication, and completing documentation for controlled substances. Also, assists with medication distribution tasks, procurement, inventory control, and outdate checking.

Requirements

• Registration or licensure with state board of pharmacy per state of employment requirements
• Certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) or National Healthcareer Association (ExCPT) within 18 months from start date
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
